Robert Sanders

5th and 6th Humanities Teacher


During the past several years, Robert Sanders has worked independently as an academic tutor, adjunct middle school, high school and junior college instructor and provided private instruction for over twenty homeschooled students.

Prior to that, Sanders developed and directed the learning services program, directed both the extended day and summer camp and later taught fifth and sixth grade history at St. Paul Christian Academy. Before becoming an educator, he served as the Assistant to the Chief Clerk of the Tennessee House of Representatives and managed several state and local political campaigns.

At Lipscomb University, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Speech Communication and a master’s of Education degree in Educational Leadership. He has also studied at Middle Tennessee State University and at Vanderbilt University.
