Financial Aid

Templeton Academy provides financial aid for capable students who would not otherwise be able to attend the school. Financial aid is based on our recognition of excellence and our belief in accessible educational opportunities for all. The financial aid committee looks for students with financial need who have a good academic record, a desire to succeed and who have demonstrated community and/or school involvement.

Application Criteria


To apply for financial aid, students must meet the following criteria:

  • Would have difficulty attending Templeton Academy due to financial situation
  • Should be achieving a minimum 75% grade average
  • Have community and/or school involvement
  • Exhibit strong leadership characteristics and personal integrity

  • Letter of financial need – a personal letter from a parent/guardian outlining your financial need.

    Templeton Academy Nashville specific - Middle School requirements 
    Templeton Academy Nashville requires any Middle School applicant to include their most recent report card and any standardized testing results with your application. Additionally, applicants should include a short (up to 3 minute) video describing what they love about learning and why Templeton Academy Nashville is the best place for them to excel. 

Templeton Academy DC specific - Opportunity Scholarship Program
Templeton Academy DC accepts scholarships awarded to DC students who qualify for and have been approved to receive an Opportunity Scholarship. This program is also known as the OSP or DC voucher program. The OSP scholarship covers most of the full year's tuition at Templeton and can be renewed each year. We ask families to cover the difference which is spread out over the course of the school year.
